pruebas pretransfusionales en cirug\u00eda de cadera<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Nos complace compartir la \u00faltima publicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica en la que participa el Dr. Jorge N\u00fa\u00f1ez:<br \/>\n\u00abEvaluating the necessity of pre-transfusion testing in primary total hip arthroplasty: a systematic review and meta-analysis\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p>El estudio analiza de forma sistem\u00e1tica si las pruebas pretransfusionales rutinarias (como la tipificaci\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea y el test de compatibilidad) son realmente necesarias en pacientes que se someten a una artroplastia total de cadera (THA).<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcca Entre los resultados m\u00e1s relevantes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El 88,1% de las pruebas solicitadas fueron innecesarias.<\/li>\n<li>El \u00edndice de transfusi\u00f3n intraoperatoria fue solo del 0,4%.<\/li>\n<li>Se identific\u00f3 un umbral de hemoglobina preoperatoria de 12 g\/dl como clave para indicar o no la necesidad de estas pruebas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Conclusi\u00f3n: limitar las pruebas pretransfusionales a pacientes con Hb &lt; 12 g\/dl podr\u00eda suponer un ahorro econ\u00f3mico significativo y optimizar recursos hospitalarios, sin comprometer la seguridad del paciente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/40091165\/\"><strong>VER PAPER
